For many years, Canterbury has been blessed to have St. Christopher's, St. Luke's, St. Paul's, and St. Stephen's provide meals for the Canterbury students following our Sunday night services.   Without such compassionate care of our students, Canterbury could not exist.  Canterbury needs the love, support, and prayers of the local Episcopal churches.  With that said, there are many other opportunities to serve the students of Texas Tech through Canterbury.  If you would like to volunteer to help Canterbury, please call (806.765.0037) or email (ttucanterbury@gmail.com) the chaplain.  We would love to use whatever gifts you bring to Canterbury, but if you need some ideas, below is a list of ways you can help:

Altar Guild help (particularly caring for linens)
Bible study small group leader
Event volunteer
Fundraising helper
Handyman/woman projects
Housekeeping
Music for our Sunday night service at 6pm
Office help
Mentoring
Monetary donations
Party planner
Preaching (for clergy and licensed preachers in the diocese)
Providing snacks during finals

If you would like to volunteer your time or talents at Canterbury, contact the chaplain at ttucanterbury@gmail.com or 806.765.0037 to discern how you can minister to the students of Texas Tech.
